I love snow. Whenever it snows i get all giddy and excited. It is such a magical time, and now that I am engaged, more than ever I can’t stop thinking about weddings. I wanted to depict a few different winter wonderland wedding styles. The first one is all about the glitter and silver. Number two is a more rustic approach to a winter wedding with a bit more of a relaxed feel. The third is focusing more on Valentine’s day. A day filled with so much love it makes sense to plan a day around such a meaningful day. With pops of red that stand out against snow it would be a very glamorous winter wedding.
If you are still looking for some last minute DIY 4th of July ideas, maybe you should try a couple of these. I wanted to put together some decorations that would be relatively simple, yet make your independence day much more festive.

How cute were those donut skewers? It really makes me want those for breakfast tomorrow! Check out the free printable ideas, which I posted yesterday by clicking here.
Hello my loyal readers. I hope you all enjoyed your Easter weekends. :)
I tried doing some of the Egg decorating tips that I posted below on my 8 Unique Egg Decorating Ideas post.
I did some of the silk ones, as well as using some tape but then I dunked them into the colors. I really wanted to do the crayon one, but I thought it would get quite messy! :)
Here are a couple photos of the eggs I colored.
The first couple are from girls night coloring eggs.
The red ones turned out really cool!
The orange one on top is mine! my friends are so creative, I ended up copying their idea because the eggs were just turning out so cool.
I ended up getting bored and I saw the stickers and thought they would look festive for a little while til they came off. So i put the little egg stickers onto my pre-painted lavender fingernails. They worked out okay, until i handwashed some dishes the next day, then had to take it all off.
On Saturday I went over to my parents to decorate eggs with my little sister as well. This egg was my favorite that I colored while I was there.
We also half dipped eggs for everyone who was coming over for Easter dinner on Sunday to make name place cards. Here’s what they looked like. A mason jar filled with grass and candies placed onto, with the egg gently resting on top. I also thought it would be fun since my parents decided to go with clear plasticware for dinner, to put a little bit of Easter grass under each of the plates to give the table a pop of color!
Also, I have some big news. My new website layout will be up shortly! I just wanted to give fair warning about my site possibly being under a little construction for a few days. :) But I can’t wait for you guys to see the final results! I have a fabulous Dessert table to share with you as the first post on the re-designed LeeMaeMarie website & logo!
So my boyfriend has been wanting me to color my hair dark for quite some time, yet I never quite felt ready. Or that I even wanted to. Until this spring itch. I’m sure you know what I mean. It happens a couple times a year for me. Right around the time of the season’s changing. I either need to chop off my hair, or color it. Lately, I have only had the urge to color it, since it has taken me so long to grow my hair out. I forgot to take a photo during the day when light was better, so I apologize about the poor quality.
My hair was a reddish color, and I had quite a few dead ends. So I colored it pretty dark, I think it’s the lighting that makes it seem redder/lighter in the after than it actually is. I’ll post other pictures later on.
So…what do you think?
