Last August Lindsay and Mike got married at Bedford Springs Hotel in Bedford, PA. They wanted an intimate wedding with immediate family and Grandparents attending. They spent a long weekend at the resort to relax and enjoy their time together before the wedding. The gentleman enjoyed golfing while the ladies hit the spa.
Mike met Lindsay on her birthday while she was out with friends a few years ago. Once they began talking they realized that they both worked in the same hospital. What a lovely coincidence!
They decided to go with grey, purple and cream as their color palate. Lindsay’s sister in Law was her Matron of honor while Mike’s brother was his best man. Renée Heller did a wonderful job on their photography. You can check out her Facebook page here.
Daniel Vaughn from State College, PA did the flowers, and I think they look stunning!
Lindsay’s favorite part of the weekend was the rehearsal dinner. They experienced what they called a Chef’s Table. This is where they all got to engage and take part in the entire making of their meal for the evening. Lindsay learned how to cut a filet that night! As she says, “It was probably the best meal of my life.”
Because they had such a small wedding, they also had a reception two days after their wedding back at home. They did a pig roast and it was catered by Ledgerock Golf Club, who “…did a fabulous job!” Said Lindsay.
Both of the invitations were from Minted.com. The first one is for the wedding and the second invite is for the reception the following sunday after their wedding. I love that she chose square invites for both!
